And yet, the message calling him ‘a fucking piece of shit’ and telling him to ‘die, break your neck’ still sits with him.
Allen, quite selfishly, had not scored a goal that game and ruined his abuser’s multi – a bet with multiple conditions and therefore a larger potential payout. Despite the risk of brain damage, if not worse, Allen had not met these conditions and naturally deserved the extra salt rubbed into his wound.
